SGP currently has geothermal leases to 17 potential geothermal power projects. These projects are categorized as Tier 1 or Tier 2 depending on phase of exploration and resource confidence.

SGP is actively developing its Tier 1 projects which are at pre-feasibility and production assessment drilling stage and close to transmission infrastructure. The Tier 1 projects are characterized by high temperature gradients from previous drilling data and surface expressions common to areas of geothermal activity. SGP has 5 Tier 1 projects having a total combined resource potential estimated to be greater than 200 MW's.

Tier 2 projects have had significant work completed but require further exploration to increase SGP's level of confidence prior to advancing these projects to the production assessment drilling stage. These projects are located on geothermal anomalies close to transmission infrastructure but have limited exploration to date. The additional exploration will provide SGP with the appropriate data in constructing a model to determine resource capacity.
