This prospect is located 8 km (5 miles) south of the Alum Project and features 3 km (1.9 miles) of fossilized geothermal vents and hot springs deposits. The Project has a 55 kV substation located on lease with twin transmission lines connecting the Nevada and California power grids.

The prospect was first explored for geothermal potential in the 1980’s. Phillips drilled seventeen gradient holes, of which four had temperature gradients of approximately 100C/km. Exploration of the prospect resumed in 2005, with two gradient holes drilled in 2005 as a joint venture between Chemetalle Foote and the previous lease owners.

Geothermometry suggests a minimum reservoir temperature of 125°C with good potential for a reservoir in the 150°C to 180°C range. A GeothermEx resource assessment using a Monte Carlo simulation estimated a 90% probability of producing 15 MW and a 50% probability of exceeding 40 MW.
